Today, I started updating the site with all of the old content that used to be edited by hand with FrontPage. It was interesting reading some of my old posts, and it does a nice job of chronicling my life over the last 9 years of 2 boys, 3 houses and a couple of vehicals.
Usually my posts are pretty political, but this one isn't going to be.
Sometimes things happen in ones life that make you wonder, make you glad for what you have. A few years back, my mom had a major heart attack that the doctor gave us a 40% chance of survival. She made it through it and looks to be going stronger than ever.
My sister sent me a birthday present, it was completely unexpected. We usually just trade the occasional email or phone call, but this year, she sent me a great gift, a Millennium Falcon. This actually took a while to put together, as it had about 45 stickers that had to be placed on it.
The boys and I played with it for about an hour before their bed time. It lights up and makes sounds, like the engine roar and laser shots. Really cool.
This will take some time, but I am moving my website to a new server, and a new way to post messages, as well as images. I hope you will like it. It should allow me to update more often.
Amazon.com has this wonderful thing called "Wish Lists". My brother-in-law made one up and Liz ran across it, and I thought it was a great idea. It lets others know what you might like for Xmas or your birthday. I also noticed that my sister has put some things up, so maybe I am the last to get on boar
A good friend of ours asked us why we wanted to have children and at the time we couldn't give him any reason that wasn't selfish. Well, now we have a reason (oh, and we are expecting on 1/1/2K1). We need to infiltrate from the inside. We need to breed these conservatives out (if you saw What Planet are You From?, you'd understand).
