Of course I went to the midnight showing of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. I was so energized by the movie/crowd that I actually haven't slept yet. The best line of the movie: "This is how liberty ends: with thunderous applause" - Padme
Because of this, I took the day off today and when the boys were out playing, I took a few pics with my new camera. It's a Canon Digital Rebel XT.
My sister sent me a birthday present, it was completely unexpected. We usually just trade the occasional email or phone call, but this year, she sent me a great gift, a Millennium Falcon. This actually took a while to put together, as it had about 45 stickers that had to be placed on it.
The boys and I played with it for about an hour before their bed time. It lights up and makes sounds, like the engine roar and laser shots. Really cool.
I used to put up my own opinions of movies, in fact, I used to have time to actually see them. But that was B.C. (before children).
Liz and I wend to see Fahrenheit 9/11 last night. I like Michael Moore, so let's just get that out of the way. I really liked this movie and I would have to give it an A- and say it's the best documentary I have seen this year. Mind you, it's the only one I have seen this year.
What are those? We were lucky to have seen Lord of the Dance Rings, over Christmas. I guess I could review that. I have a ton of DVD's to review, but in the same vein, I haven't been able to watch all of them.
Our sponsor, 800.COM, has ended their free shipping promotion on most items. Still in effect are DVD's and a few other items. You will still save a ton of money on sales tax for big ticket items, so they are still highly recommended.
